"This was our first visit to this two year old establishment, and we will definitely return. The staff are all welcoming and attentive and knowledgeable. The food is carefully prepared, and delicious. Their in house made sourdough bread, butter, and even the ketchup taste fabulous. This is a great neighbourhood find, and although we are not from the immediate area, it was worth the drive for us. Sitting at the bar, we chatted with the delightful bartender. The noise level is not crazy, which we really appreciated, even though the restaurant was fairly busy."

"Mamajoun is a place I've wanted to try since they first opened. I finally got around to it! The place is part restaurant, offering Armenian pizzas and more, and part grocery store. Offerings include preserved meats and preserved fruits (jams) of all types. Our meal started with an order of Mante (beef dumplings). It was served in a tomato sauce with yogurt and spices. It was a great way to start our meal. Other choices included the Papajoun and the Armenian Pizza, both suggested by Mirhan and both delicious. The Papajoun was a flatbread pizza with ground beef, spices, and a red pepper paste. We added some hot peppers. It was folded and toasted, giving it a nice texture. Yummy! The Armenian Pizza was topped with soujouk (an Armenian sausage), beef, onions, tomato sauce, and cheese. The crust was good and the pizza was delicious! Their delicious food was very enjoyable! Thank you, Chef Mirhan!"
