What User likes about Betty's:
We were able to walk to Betty's from downtown, a short distance down King St. There is an outdoor patio, a restaurant area and a bar illuminated with coloured lights. We had excellent service from Beverly who took time to explain the menu. If you sit at a booth there are 2 beer taps right there at the table. What User doesn't like about Betty's:
We booked the back room for the day after wedding brunch. The staff was courteous and ready with refills of coffee. Unfortunately the main reason we booked was for the brunch poutine bar, having out of country guests who were excited to try Poutine. There was no poutine, when we asked they said they are not serving it today. Very disappointing. I mentioned to the waitress this was the main reason we booked, she shrug... View all feedback.
Good atmosphere and service. A real drinkable. Good choice of beer and spirits. A nice couple of hours before dinner.
Pubs like this are disappearing from the Toronto landscape. These types of quaint drinking places with a little of the feel of a Dublin dive bar with good food...
