What Jane Quek likes about Country Style Hungarian:
There's only one restaurant I can say that I went to my whole life and it's this place. It was opened in 1961 and was a landmark in the annex of Toronto. Food is always great. You can't go wrong with the classic Weiner Schnitzel with mash and cucumbers. I recommend drinking the raspberry soda and always take it on the free bread! If there is a place in Toronto, you must try. Oh, and don't forget to bring cash. 10/10... View all feedback.

The portions are enormous and perfect for sharing, and the wooden platter offers a taste of everything the restaurant has to offer. The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and delicious Hungarian desserts make it a hidden gem. With huge portions, good value for money, and a warm, homey feel, this spot is a must-visit for those looking for European comfort food. Liked it but didn't love it. Really large portion sizes - the wooden meat platter for 4 was enough to feed six (although, of course we ordered other dishes
Once in awhile, you just need a good Schnitzel.and in the last few years, many of the 'Old School' Hungarian Schnitzel places have gone out of business.
