The steamed rice noodle with peanut sauce is yum as an appetiser. S13- mixed veggies with noodle has that typical thick sauce, which you often find in Chinese veggie dishes - not super into it. But if you like it, check it out. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Goldstone Noodle Restaurant:
we go there to eat some noodle, the beef tendon is ok, but we order "lai fun" which is a type of noodle, has some transparency after cooked, but they gave us was not the real "lai fun", was not the type that we want, we taste it in Hong Kong (as we are Hong Kong people originally, so we know what is the real exact "lai fun" is) and want to taste it again here, but so disappointed that they don't give us the real "lai... When I'm in chinatown, this is one of the places I go to for a quick and inexpensive meal. I like the bbq here and congee as well. Don't expect much service, just a quick meal.
Pretty good. I wouldn't say it is as good as Ding Tai Fong (my favorite restaurant) but it is good enough that I would go back.<br/ <br/ Good: food is made fast and fresh. No real weak dishes. Like the atmosphere, not too fancy but it felt good. You can see the cooks make your food in the window on the street.<br/ <br/ Bad: BBQ pork was pretty fatty. Compared to other Chinese outlets, this was one negative. Could of cooked the liver more in the congee as there was some blood, however I am aware this is their signature dish and may have been their intention.
Been here couple times, they have variety of dishes and drinks to choose from. It will always be a good pick, when your craving for noodles or rice. Recommend the soy sauce chicken with rice.
This is one of my go-to spots in Chinatown.<br/ Glistening BBQ is enticing from one of the front windows, and the steam from the soup and noodles fogs up the other.<br/ The service is brisk and no-nonsense. <br/ They have all the usual Chinese BBQ dishes available at the usual BBQ joints. At this place, the food is done well, and is tasty, not gloppy. Everything I have ever had here has been tasty. From noodle soup, rice dishes, to take-out.<br/ I am a repeat offender.<br/
Fast and fresh. Chinatown restaurant. Nothing fancy. Clean, fast, fresh and generous portion size. Not much in terms of atmosphere or hospitality but my take out lunch was great.Vegetable chow mien done nicely and the BBQ chicken was very tasty.
