This restaurant is a social enterprise, acting as a training restaurant. It also offers great food. I found the service friendly.Start off with "greens", an excellent salad with a nice mix of honey and mustard seeds (delicious!). What Jayde Koss doesn't like about Hawthorne Food and Drink:
One word I could come up with to describe the meal? Confused The bloody caesar flavour completely overpowered the flank steak, and the whole dish. The flank steak I'm sure was medium rare but sitting on hot mash and hot dressing kept cooking it to more medium/well done. Best place to work for free forever! It is sad to see how they take advantage of people eager to work, grow and learn but they do not know where to start
