I'm a friend and I'm going to go along with the downtown, but I'm a little thrilling feeling, and I'm still going to go out and I'm going to go out and I'm going to go out. I have a child ssss I've ordered it and I'm pretty good. View all feedback.
What Jadesola Oluwashina doesn't like about Il Fornello Restaurants:
3 of us attended this chain restaurant mid week recently, Two people had individual pizzas while I had the chicken parmesan. The pizzas were quite enjoyable while the parmesan was forgettable. The noodles that accompanied the chicken were well cooked and tasty. The chicken was, in a word, terrible. It was the toughest, over-cooked piece of white meat I have ever had. The lesson: stick with the pastas and pizzas. If this is the restaurants interpretation of what chicken parmesan is, they should remove it from the menu.
We had pizza and pasta. Great portion size. Food was a sold 7/10 and it came out quick. Only criticism is for the price I would expect the little things like cloth napkins instead of disposable, butter in a dish instead of peel off cartons, and cloth on the table instead of paper.
The Il Fornello at Bayview Village is a wonderful option to dine amongst the many other neighbouring choices. Much quieter than either The Pearl or the horrendously noisy Oliver & Bonacini, Il Fornello provides consistently efficient and attentive service as well as carefully-prepared and beautifully-presented food. The Prix Fixe 3-course menu at $28 is a definite bargain with ample choices. Pasta dishes, salads and pizzas are their specialty. The stuffed chicken dish I ordered was delicious. It came with garlic mash, a tasty sauce and steamed vegetables. An arugula, beet and goat cheese salad and berries and cream topped off my meal. Although I don't eat bread, perhaps more attention might be given to the bread and butter provided. Uninteresting slices in a basket with butter in plastic packets just doesn't match the rest of the quality of the food and service. It is evident that this is a well-managed restaurant.I will definitely keep coming back.

We used to live nearby the Danforth branch and still return there for the occasional lunch. If you are seeking a quieter place for a good value nosh, one that will feature good service, then this will do. It has a clean, ever-so-slightly upscale feel to it and that's a good thing, if for example you are bringing a date. Hard to go wrong here. Added value: after your meal, the Danforth (Avenue)/Greektown strip is right outside. Great for a stroll any time. Nearby TTC subway stops: Pape or even Chester. I am done. The end.
I enjoyed the pizza I had ordered. It was thin crust and it is good enough for two ladies. The waitress was very polite and we got served promptly. Will go back and visit again
