Took my parents there for their wedding anniversary along with a few kids as well. The ambiance is great with a modern rustic feel. Great selection of booze and coffee beverages are very good. The food is fantastic and rich. My 6 year old wasn't a fan so recommend your children are 8-9+ as you need a good palette for the food. I am a local resident and frequent the various bars/restaurants on Dundas regularly for dinner and drinks.We went to the Junction Local on a rather quiet midweek evening. (only around 4 tables full) We were greeted and seated by a rather rude/grumpy seeming waitress who made it very clear that she wanted to go home.
