"This cafe isn 't immediately visible from the street, but we enjoyed our visit here. It 's located inside an office/medical building complex along Don Mills Road. Their website lists a cool fact about the cafe ownership: Our love affair with coffee started back in 1998 when...we opened our first location in the historic centre of Rome. Since then, L 'Arte del Caffé Er Baretto has become a local favourite and a tourist destination. The menu offers pastries, espresso, but other items such as pasta, pizza, panini, antipasto and some items with egg for brunch appetites. We had the egg and prosciutto toast and it comes with two pieces of bread, tomato, lettuce as well, The omelettes are made vegetarian style, comes with salad and toast. You can add a protein for an extra dollar. Both were topped with parmesan. The seating area comes in two parts; one immediately in front of the cafe and another in a separated white walled room. They offer take away or sit down service where a waiter will assist you. This cafe is pretty nice for an office building complex they were quite friendly to us so take your time stop in for a sit down visit. The prices were pretty reasonable. Next time I would like to try the authentic espresso drinks and a croissant. I wish my office building had such a cafe!"

"Full disclosure: I went to high school with the owner. She is a lovely human being and truth be told she could have started any business and I'd feel good about supporting it. Some people just deserve success. 3SK is a tiny cafe nestled in a LRT-construction-challenges section of Eglinton Avenue West. It's far from the only coffee shop on the strip, but they have carved out their niche between exceptionally friendly service, generally being awesome people and catering to a variety of dietary needs. Their offerings-and the cafe-are kosher, which suits many on the neighbourhood even of it restricts their opening house somewhat. They have plenty of vegan and keto stuff too, and have sourced their own beans. Coffee is very good; plunges with an aeropress by hand. it doesn't need sugar or cream. My only quibble is that in service of the diet conscious customers they chase they do use a bunch o nuts, which makes it less safe for those with allergies. But I get that you can't be all things to all people. As a small business, I strongly support them :"

"What a wonderfull experience. From the small quaint interior and its the story of its owner that dresses its walls. To the exquisite food that has love and care put into it. Not only that but they do have a vegan option so just about anyone can enjoy this fantastic restaurant."

"This was our second time at Core, and we 've had great experiences both times. The food is delicious, well cooked, and priced like a nice Toronto restaurant (about $130 for a three course meal for two, plus cocktails . The service might be a touch slower than we 're used to but it translates to time to enjoy the food and company. Our server last night (Cam? was extremely friendly, attentive, and had great energy. He also gave a perfect beer pairing of an Ontario beer I 'd never heard of before. The three course Trust the Chef option was delicious and worth the money, but be advised that the plates are selected from the existing menu, so it 's less for adventurous eaters and more for those who can 't decide. Overall, we loved the food and ambience at Core and will definitely be back. A great spot for a special date."

"Healthy food on the go is what Green Box Express does best! I grabbed quick lunches here twice during my work-related stay in downtown Toronto, and it was nice to have tasty, healthy, nutrient-rich fuel for my body that didn 't make me feel gross after eating it.My go-to is the vegan sandwich, a yummy sammy made with roasted eggplant, red peppers, tomatoes, arugula, avocado, and a sundried tomato tapenade. I have never ordered anything else off the menu here because it 's so good! Ask for whatever hearty grain bread they have for the day. The vegan sandwich supposedly comes with a side salad, but I find that claim laughable. Each time, my salad was different, bitter, sad, and a weird mix of lettuces or shredded cabbage. The dressing was okay but the amount given was inadequate. The sandwich is by far the superstar of the meal. I also tried the fresh squeezed orange juice, but I found it to be a little too bitter and wouldn 't get it again, especially for the price. They run daily specials that I 'll have to try next time (I 'm curious about their salmon). There are several grab-and-go, ready prepared salads, sides, and meals in the cooler as you enter. This is where you can also find the fresh juices. If you want to order a special menu item, salad, meal, or sandwich, go up to the main counter to order. There is plenty of outdoor seating which is great on a nice afternoon, but the inside is quite cramped. People place their orders and then just stand around, crowding the restaurant and making it confusing if you 're trying to order yourself. I like Green Box and will continue to return when I 'm in the area, and it 's a great place for vegetarians, vegans, and health-conscious eaters to get a hearty, healthy, tasty meal."
