Rush Lane - Toronto

This was a nice little gem of a find. I'm not generally the small, intimate bar type, but I did enjoy my time here. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The vibe was relaxed, trendy, though a touch loud. And the food and drinks were awesome! I was introduced to a paper plane, which is pretty good, and bonus points to the bartender for getting me to try something new. For food we shared the pulled pork nachos, the dirty rice, and the porridge dish. The nachos were so good! I'm lactose intolerant but I had a time with these. I think they make their own chips too. The dirty rice was also quite good, but a touch salty. I didn't take much to the porridge but my friends quite liked it. Overall, this place is worth a visit, and I'd go again.

Me and my boyfriend came here in March before we went to see a concert, the cocktails were expensive (30+ for two) but they were super great and well-executed, as well as not being scant on the liquor at all. We will def come back the next time we are in town. The kitchen wasn't open, which sucked because we were looking for something to eat, but we did waltz in pretty much as soon as they opened. Service was good.

Great drinks, Great atmosphere, Craft cocktails were in order...Large liquor selection. Todd was awesome!!! Will definitely return!!!

I love me a good cocktail, and this place has them. The bartenders are all wonderful and the actual bar is lovely and intimate! Highly recommend!

A lot of bars dump a lot of booze and some pre-mix in a tumbler and call it a cocktail. This place is the exact opposite. The list of cocktails leans toward creative updates of vintage favorites and boy do they get it right. Every drinks was incredibly well-balanced and the flavors are bang on. The staff are great and after I ordered my first drink and chose a different one for my second, the bar tender asked me what appealed to me about that drink and then made me an even better one. We had a bite from the kitchen and while we didn't expect much in a bar kitchen, the beef empanada was terrific. We'll be back.
