Contribute FeedbackSeven44 offers a lively atmosphere with live bands and dancing. While some found the food overpriced and lacking, others enjoyed the menu options. The service was generally good, and the music was a highlight for many patrons. Reservations may be a challenge, but accommodations are made when possible. Overall, Seven44 is recommended for those looking for a fun night out with great music and decent food options. Whether it's for a weekend band or a Sunday afternoon, this establishment offers a vibrant experience for music lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
The main reason for arriving at 4:30 was to have good seating for the 5-9 pm showing of the Beatles Tribute Band. When we arrived, almost all the seating was taken or reserved. We managed to find a table for 4 in a corner with a view of the band. Although the song selection was good, some of the pieces took a few moments to recognize. Not the greatest band but fun night at the same time. I wish I would have been able to find more cheese on the large, shared nachos plate that was ordered. So little cheese that I thought the server believed I wanted vegan not vegetarian (no chicken or beef). The sandwiches looked appetizing though I did not order any. $15 cash cover charge if not booked in advance.
It's fantastic for live music and DJ I give it a "5" for that. Atmosphere is average, food is average.
Arrived there around 7. Afternoon band was still playkng. A bit loud for my taste. Ordered a ginger ale and a voodoo chicken. It was quite good. Ordered sweet potato fries with it. Band was good. Only big negative is the soft drinks are not bottomless.
Saw Oakland Stroke (Tower of Power cover) and they were awesome, perfect, and well worth the $15 cover. The food not so much. The wings were good but too small a portion and the signature potato wedges soggy and tasteless - $15. My wife's $14 personal pizza was tasty but also a little limp. Most of the beer taps were not functioning. I will certainly return to see this band but be more discreet in my food choice.
We went to Seven44 because a friend was playing in a swing band that was performing there. I was surprised by the size of the place as it looks small from the front. The menu is perhaps too extensive, but we enjoyed the food we had. The burger was tasty and the fries crispy, just as we requested. The jazz club sandwich was also good. For a Monday night, it was busy, I suspect because the band (18 piece ensemble) was cooking! Even with it being busy, the kitchen was also cooking at an amazing rate. We didn't wait long for our food and neither did other tables we observed. It's worthwhile to go just for the bands, but you won't go wrong with the food. They should focus on fewer menu items and specialize to get their reviews higher.
