First visit 8.12.17. The Janvers visited for a late lunch with a friend at an off-hour on the weekend. Seating was prompt and two pizzas were the weekend splurge. The spicy salame and mushroom pizza was excellent. Service was rather average, and the restaurant could be a little more comfortable. But the music was good and the food enjoyable. "The seat is a big one, but the food is delicious! We tried? bad for you? So? What? All three dishes are out. You are creative fusion courts I doubt that you can have them anywhere else! "Mamajoun is a place I've wanted to try since they first opened. I finally got around to it!The place is part restaurant, offering Armenian pizzas and more, and part grocery store. Offerings include preserved meats and preserved fruits (jams) of all types.Our meal started with an order of Mante (beef dumplings). It was served in a tomato sauce with yogurt and spices. It was a great way to start our meal. Other choices included the Papajoun and the Armenian Pizza, both suggested by Mirhan and both delicious.The Papajoun was a flatbread pizza with ground beef, spices, and a red pepper paste. We added some hot peppers. It was folded and toasted, giving it a nice texture. Yummy!The Armenian Pizza was topped with soujouk (an Armenian sausage), beef, onions, tomato sauce, and cheese.
