The food here is fantastic. Better than that it is consistent. Every time I come I know what to expect, my order is going to be cooked to perfection with lots of flavor. The servers are always knowledgeable about the standards, the specials, and what's on tap. Definitely a go to for me when I don't want to be disappointed. The vibe is very low key and the crowd is appropriate for anyone. View all feedback.
What Joseph Raczynski doesn't like about Hopsaint Brewing Co:
Eh, hoped for more, but the food was a tad under seasoned, overcooked, or generally missed the mark. The variety of beer starts and stops at IPAs. They toss in a few others, but those are limited. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. View all feedback.
We came here looking for a dinner spot near Redondo Union HS. We luckily beat the crowd and were seated right away (around 5pm). By the time we left the restaurant was full and there were several parties waiting. The seating in the middle may be shared with other parties, but we were seated at one of the side tables. Although a brewery only one in our party ordered a beer. Our group started with one of their specials, a flatbread with pesto and burrito. It was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the only negative was that the pulled pork flatbread didn't have enough pork. There were many other items we wanted to try so we will visit the area again.
Went with my wife after a morning running errands. I hadn 't been to HopSaint since it opened a few years ago where I chalked up my bad food bad beer experience to recently opening and always said I 'd give them another shot. Today was... Perfectly adequate... Beer was fine... we got both Hazy IPA 's (normally our favorite). We 'd place them in the lower ranks of South Bay local hazy beers. We didn 't order a second (we usually do). Food was fine... HopSaint Salad and the Mushroom Flatbread. It wasn 't bad food, but neither was good enough to become a regular order for future visits. Maybe it 's inflation, but the mediocre food was about $1-2 overpriced to consider it good value for money. Also we heard they don 't allow dogs at the outdoor seating area. Although we didn 't have our dog this time, most of our brewery experiences do. I leave remembering why I haven 't been here in years. It will continue to be a drive-by brewery for me.
If you want to go to the brewery with food, Hop Saint is the best place in South Bay. Staff are friendly and nice, and I like the family friendly atmosphere
That fried catfish with greens, rice n beans reminded me of home. I'll pay that $20 for the flash back any day. Coulda used a 2 piece, but I ain't mad
The best thing about this brewery is the FOOD! Our server informed us that all the produce was locally sourced/farm-to-table style (the vegetables taste like happiness and sunshine). It reminded me a lot of the dishes served at breweries or vineyards in Eugene, OR. Almost everything prepared as smoked so it packs in deep flavor and their prices are so reasonable. I love their Pils and Kolsh- light crisp and cold goes down so easy after a large bite of the most delicious smoked brisket .
