"The group ordered a selection of starters between us. Each very well put together and presented. The scrambled egg and Portuguese sausage was a knock-out even though before ordering everyone was a little apprehensive. The main courses came with the pork strips exquisite along with an excellent steak and a very good chicken. Desserts were good. The biscuit layered cake was good although a little too sweet for my palate. The almond mouse on the other hand hit all the right notes. Reasonable pricing and a good house red made an excellent night out."

"Very good food at affordable price. Nice service as well. Sometimes it gets a little crowded. The location is far from city centre but close to the Castle and exhibition area. Also the new bus terminal is nearby."

"Being a pilot, I'm attracted to small airports to see what's going on and at Santa Cruz airport I was pleased to find not only light airplanes in action but also a very decent restaurant, which is clearly popular with locals. The waitresses were friendly and efficient, although not speaking much English. Translating the menu with Google we had an enjoyable lunch of fried cuttefish."
