A really good Mexican Restaurant. Service is good and the food is well prepared and plentiful. I had the burrito which was filled with a lot of chorizo, cheese and beans. I was barely able to finish. My wife had the mole chicken. An excellent choice, mole sauce was well done, spicy chocolate with hints of cinnamon . The chicken fresh and flavorful. I would recommend it if in the area. Enjoy if you go! View all feedback.
What Joshua Hamilton doesn't like about La Cueva Mexicano:
The food was really good, but honestly over priced. I understand why, of course. It is a tourist town, and things get expensive. But my shrimp fajitas were $26....and really were equal in taste and quality to the ones I get for $14-$16 backhome. The place was clean, and the food was good, however. View all feedback.
Our pictures show that the food was gone! We devoured it! After a long time hiking around the beautiful parks in the area we rewarded ourselves with an excellent dinner. The food was great. I loved my sizzling fajitas. The chips and salsa and appetizerswere so good! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. We ate every bite!

Fantastic Mexican restaurant with delicious meals, refreshing margaritas, and great vegan options (just ask and they can modify anything really well). Highly recommend the tostada bowl and the flautas. We had blueberry and cinnamon apple and loved them. This place is connected to a convenience store and gas station and there isn't much else out here. Perfect spot to stop ifyou're visiting Capitol Reef NP.
Great Mexican restaurant on the way to Capitol Reef. Would recommend trying the chimichanga and tacos. The serving size is quite generous for the price, and is perfect for getting filled up after going on a hike. They offer complementary nachos so you havesomething to munch on while waiting for your orders, but you won't have to wait long.
