Local friends recommended that stopped by at John’s as it was a ‘local institution’. We were spoilt for choice, but opted for a selection of the chocolate brownies having read an online review. We were not disappointed and the staff were lovely. View all feedback.

Lovely Sunday wander flowed by a tasty snack from John's....what a fantastic cafe /deli. Stock fab foods and provisions. Instow too.
Go to john's when we visit appledore every few weeks, always have a well done vegan pasty to take away and sit on seat facing water. Really lovely pastys.
All of the establishments were friendly and efficient, the food choices were varied and suited everyone, highly recommend.

We had the crab baguette which was quite tough going and pricey I asked if they did crab sandwiches which of course is more traditional and would have been a little easier to chew but unfortunately was told no.
