Set in the charming village of Ashprington with a varied menu of good quality food, nice selection of beers and friendly service this place is a winner. It's a genuine pub with a personality, it may feel like a local's haunt but the welcome is warm. You won't find a better place for miles. View all feedback.

We stopped for lunch, the soup was delicious with sourdough bread. A couple of my friends ordered the black pudding which was £6 for one slice of black pudding garnished two pea shoots and a little sauce spots and nothing else.
