"One of us ordered off the menu, having the country salad and lamb chops, the other the 4 course dinner. The Petit country salad made up of lardons, egg, lovely lettuce, tomatoes, and carrots under a vinaigrette dressing was both superb and huge, almost a meal in itself. The appetizer for the 4 course dinner was a mixture of cured raw salmon and diced asparagus in a dish of filo dough and a refreshing tangy dressing, again excellent. Our two main courses, the lamb and a guinea fowl were good, although there seemed to be too much sage in the sauce over the guinea fowl. Both dishes were accompanied by a soufflé made of carrots and savory vegetables and a small bowl of well seasoned roasted potatoes served piping hot. The cheese board had local cheese besides the usual selection of well know national cheese. We recommend the salad and the potatoes."
