Ariana. Mile End fantastic. Good food in a cool atmosphere with the restaurant Nextdoor to a nice Èast London park. And the canal a sort walk away. This restaurant will not disappoint on good Persian food. You have to take your own drink’ wine or beers’ I can recommend the mixed meat grill. View all feedback.
What Lauren Gray doesn't like about Ariana Afghan Persian:
we were in the Shisha lounge on the back, they also have a small restaurant on the front. we tried the shammi kebab, hummus with brot, and meeresbass, beside minze tee and apfel and minze shischa. the brot was beautiful and I think it was freshly cooked in a fire oven. looks like a normal place, along the back of the mile end road. it was very busy for a weekday evening! cool little place to check. they have a shisha... Amazing eating and very patient staff. Thank you, we'll be back. there were ten of us and everyone can't wait until the next time!
Order about 5 different dishes, each one to their own had an amazing taste, as delicate the lamb was with the qabooli pallow. good to taste the actual Afghan/persian food after a dae again. make sure that the Afghan green tee at the end. we will see you again soon:
Eating is okay and in portions are decent. we tried panir and aubergine for appetizers and okra for the net together with a crippled teig. panir was disappointing(salad with feta cheese.) brote were warm and tasty. aubergine was good and also loved tge saffronrei. the ambiente was good, not well illuminated and tables were sticky. cost are ~15 s.
Baked aubergines with tomaten and ei gbp 4.50 – I think the aubergines were somewhat burned, instead of karge. but otherwise was a nice warm bath with the brot. houmous gbp 3.95 – good texture with small ugly bits, but it lacks seasoning and the stamp of the garlic. brot gbp 1.50 – eat while it is warm because it becomes crispy when it is cooled. mantoo gbp 8.95 – wheat flour with lubricated lamb and swash, served with yogurt, dry mint and meat sauce. the pasta was light and not clogged at the teeth. filled with generous filling of meat and sauce, it was my favorite. from marinated full poussin, charcoal grilled, served with saffron steamed basmati rice and grilled tomato mixed vegetables gbp 8.95 – the poussin was moist, full taste and I was impressed by the portion size! peeled fine cubed lamme with aubergine, cracked hebsen, tomato yum! spicy chili relish with walnuts – served next to the net. with my Asian inheritance and the ability to to tolerate the chili heats, I would say that this chili sauce is on the scale of 2/5, but my European nabeby advise it at 3.5/5 was a bowl of rice with this chilli sauce for me was exquisite savoury cream! it was delicious, but not if they have more than three teaspoons, where then the only taste that dwells in their mouth that is sweet. not very nice because I had to wash it off with water.
A pleasant surprise: good, honest cooking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The vegetarian options are limited but very well put together.
