What Francesca Robertson doesn't like about Indigo Street Food:
We were keen to check out Indigo, a bright and cheerful restaurant that has opened up next door to Rich Mix cinema. Rich Mix is one of our favourite places, with a great line up of comedy, music and independent cinema First impressions of Indigo were good, loved the light and airy space We kicked things off with a mango lassi. Our first ones were a bit pale and anaemic, but our second ones seemed to have about 50% mo... View all feedback. What KGBviews likes about Indigo Street Food:
I was pretty hungry, so had a vegetarian starter and lamb seekh kebab, both were very tasty. I'll definitely visit again but only for main, only reason I didn't award 5 5 was that the starter was the same price as the main meal, and I think £7 is too much for a vegetarian appetiser. read moreIndigo, located next to Rich Mix cinema, offers a vibrant ambiance and tasty Indian street food. The mango lassi was refreshing, while the pav bhaji was flavorful albeit tomato-heavy. Service was a bit lacking, with staff unsure about gluten-free options. The Rich Mix cafe provides a convenient option for quick eats, with a variety of events to enjoy. Yummy pani puri and delectable masala dosa are highlights. Friendly staff and prompt service enhance the experience. Overall, Indigo offers good Indian fare in Shoreditch, despite some minor shortcomings.
