"The garlic rolls are addictive, I had 3!! The split pea soup, yum but the codfish special was ok, great piece of fish, not knocking that but it was missing some flavor. Now others may disagree, my taste buds have been ruined with spicy foods so I always need a huge burst of flavor, but still delicious. Plus the hostesses and our server were great! Will definitely come back oh and I don't typically eat meat but did try a bite of the Riley and it was pretty damn good. It's hard to find good red meat in America!"

"Had a solid experience at the restaurant. Took a bit long than expected but food came out delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive but the atmosphere was pretty lackluster to me. Quite pricy but there are little options in the area so it is worth checking out. "Chefs Elizabeth and Adam and front of house manager and sommelier Jimmy continue to elevate 18 Bay to greater heights. My take is always that I could eat the appetizer plate and leave totally satisfied. The creativity and execution of the four elements surpasses what one would experience in an entire meal elsewhere. Jimmy has curated a terrific selection of wines ALL available by the glass Why eat anywhere else in the Hamptons. Bravi!!!"

"Outstanding in every way! Both my wife and I had the salmon sashimi appetizer and the halibut and both dishes were delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and described each menu item. My wife has food allergies and the waiter was able to suggest good options and also had the kitchen modify the sashimi so that it did not affect her allergy. The chocolate mousse was very tasty as well. Clearly the best restaurant in the Hamptons!"

"Highway Restaurant is just simply the best restaurant out East for delictable meals from salad to dessert. I was never a fan of Kale salad until I discovered a kale salad here with the most delicate dressing, dressed with chips made from squash, and various tangy and sweet surprises. The fried calamari was so light and just the right amount with a nice spicy atoli very fresh. Then fresh burrata with multicolored beets nicely dressed. The late corn was grilled and dressed perfectly. And John's eggplant parmigiana light and flavorful. Best thing was the apple crumb dish. Simply superb. Fit for foodies, etc. One can honestly feel the loving preparation of each item on the menu. Warm, cosy, elegant, good wines, we can't say enough."
