"I went to work. apparently too many customers had to handle. Last time I waited 30 minutes to get rid of. I understand a longer waiting time when the place is full, but there was no one there when I ordered the fries. pretty cheap with the portions also when I can add. that was the last chance. I'm done with this place. I also noticed in this review section that the owners only respond to the good reviews. that's very interesting."

"I was there, standing up comedy in the fitzsimmons brewery in airdrie, but wanted to eat a nice bite before the performance / show. my wife was looking for a strange restaurant and found abes. it was great. we sat right away, parking was free, and the selection of food was really great. but my whole family felt like eating burgers. I had the elk burger and it's easy to screw this meat, but it was fantastic. the beef burgers were all delicious. the French fries were freshly cut and made exactly right. it was a great, simple meal and we will repeat at a future visit in the bedroom community shortly north of calgary"

"Very good experience.. you can find delicious pita sandwiches, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere, it is a fantastic spot for a satisfying and flavourful meal. Whether you're a fan of falafel, shawarma, Pita Basket is definitely worth a visit. "First visit in cheryl’s, had the frying beef special (sonnay special). I don't think mamma would have cooked it better if she even managed the kitchen. the food needs time to get out because it is really home cooked eating. they come here to a feeling of family and home comfort. fantastic!"

However, we didn't get any actual bill and the server just told my husband that the sum had already added a 20% tip, without saying that she had added a tip table with two adults and a child, so that also not expected). My husband paid another 20% tip about it and we only realized later, as we were in a hurry to go as our annoyed toddler was already with me outside the restaurant. I have no problem with automatic satisfaction, although it should be clearly stated, or we would have received a postcode. Ends unintentionally pay like a 40% tip.
