I wouldn't recommend this place. Waited one hour for our appetizers and another 20 minutes for our food. What was cold to me... Server just came a few times. "I often drive through Hinton on the way to somewhere else and often stop for lunch. Today I thought I would give Rojo Marron a try because I like Mexican food (the real stuff from Mexico, not Taco Bell or equivalent). Roja Marron was just...a short drive off the highway and it was quite nice visually. However, it cost $19 for a bland burrito and a soft drink. Not that big either for what they charged. The staff weren't very friendly even though I spoke some Spanish, asked where they were from in Mexico, etc. Perhaps my mistake was ordering a burrito, which is more Tex-Mex than Mexican. However, that doesn't excuse how blah it was. I don't like to give bad reviews to family restaurants and perhaps it was just a bad day. I will give it one more chance on a future trip through Hinton."

"We had a very good experience here. Hubby had the Wednesday steak special, probably one of the best steak we’ve tasted. I had the chicken Oscar with steak and barley soup as one of my sides, no picture of soup but was very good. Service was friendly and top notch. "I don't know if I was lucky but my experience here was actually pretty good. I went there in june 2017. It was close to the hotel I was staying at so it was really convenient. We were there early so the restaurant was not full. The waitress was friendly and polite. As well as useful in giving advice. The food option were good and so was the taste. I had a pizza which was excellent and my girlfriend had pasta which was good."
