"We eat Japanese every week at least once, when we go away we always seek out Japanese for all meals. Whilst the sashimi was good, they had run out of Tuna on the first night, had some on the second night but had no kingfish on the second night - yes it does happen but 2 nights running.The selection of sake was dismal - choice from 2 unfiltered and 1 sparkling - excuse was it was difficult to get supplies - rubbish, they just did not see this as an issue, more likely forgot to order or other supply issues.Overll result was good food, when in stock, lousy drinks selection."

"From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. The staff are friendly and warm. Service was brilliant. Not overbearing on the drinks orders as some restaurants are just the right level. This restaurant runs a very busy takeaway and the staff were very busy between the two, but well done team. No one was left waiting or unattended. Great operation. What can I say about the food? Yum. All of it. The spring rolls and curry puffs may have been a little over done but as an entree to the Banquet we ordered all was forgiven. I'm full as a goog right now as I write this but find myself salivating again! The rice was perfect, every dish on the Banquet menu was amazing. Way too much for 4 people. We couldn't finish everything as the servings are generous. Everything is fresh. Cooked to perfection, and quick. Again, great team working well together. Just a great atmosphere, highly recommend Summeries if you love good Thai cuisine. (just sorry I didn't take photos this time as my phone was flat)"

"The best cocktail bar in Townsville. Small and intimate. Even when it is full, you can still have a conversation. A cocktail selection that is constantly changing, but you can always get your favorite. The bartenders are always up for some banter, and if you dont mind watching them work, the bar is a great place to sit. Definitely recommend going there for a drink."
