"Recommended by the owner of the gite we stayed at, just outside Sancerre, as an up and coming restaurant. We had the degustation du chef and it was outstanding. Lovely white stone building in a little village with a wonderful courtyard terrace. On a par with 1 star restaurants. One of best two restaurants in a week in the Loire valley."

"My husband and I discovered this restaurant by chance while hiking around Chavignol, without having made a reservation. Although the restaurant was almost full, we were comfortably seated. The service is provided by the boss and the cook, who take great care of their customers. The plates are tasty and generous with fresh and local products. We did not have any wine but we noted the exceptional choice of wines from the region.
