"We ate here with friends. Two of us had fish and chips, the fish was a square piece of fish, with frits. The fish did not taste properly, dry and no fish taste. You also had pan roasted squid not great. They had deep fried mussels, and they didn't taste well. It was a waste of food and money. We wouldn't go back there."

"Always find the food and service at The Blue Canoe to be very good. Today I did however find the coffee to be lukewarm even when the waitress give me a refill. Also, I ordered from the all day breakfast menu and everything was fine except my homefries. Once again they were barely lukewarm compared to the other items on my plate. If I order a hot meal and drink I like it to be hot."

"We had seen some reviews on the FB for this place, so we thought we would go for a ride and try it out. It didn't look like something beautiful, but it was warm and comfortable. It was nice to see it decorated for Christmas! The server was quick and friendly, and they served a large cup of coffee! (I drink it black, so there is no bad cup! It was nice because she first brought our daughters food without having to ask for it. Our meals arrived fast and hot! We had the shells and chips and fish and poutins. Both were very good, Pommes were good and you can say that they had recently changed the oil, which was beautiful! The fish was perfectly cooked, but not overcooked or too greasy! The Coleslaw was very good!! We were very happy with our meals and look forward to returning! The only negative I would have to give to this place was the condition of the washroom. It was pretty dirty. The garbage was flooded, the door was pretty dirty inside and you could say that it was not long well scrubbed, and also the paper cloth holder was dirty. Otherwise the rest of the restaurant was clean!"
