Bake My Day is less than a 5 minute walk from home so i'm a bit biased BUT their cakes are delicious an absolute bargain at £2.50 per slice!! The flavours range from traditional (Victoria, lemon, Bakewell, carrot) to new (peanut butter, oreo cookies cream) so far, of the 4 flavours i've tried, all cakes have been moist, tasty decadent! I visited here today (sunday) for the first time. I brought a Maltesers cake to take away. Cost me £2.80 a slice, so not cheap. But I am highly disappointed. The cake looks great which is why I brought it. However it was stale and tasted of gone off baking powder. I don't know how long the cake must have been sat there and annoyed that I have been sold stale cake. I will not be revisiting again. Not impressed. View all feedback.
