"Today we visited Cafe Rose for breakfast/brunch. We had a full breakfast and an eggs florentine. Both were outstanding! Freshly cooked and excellent quality. Mushrooms not greasy with great little touches of herbs! A pleasure to eat. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be...visiting again soon. Thanks"

"Popped into 2Brothers yesterday to buy a Pain Au Chocolat (they used to be decent at 2B) and mine was underbaked and raw in the middle. Sad but not a catastrophe. However whilst I was waiting the Barista was setting up a coffee after having ground the beans….. and then gently and lovingly BLEW (as in to blow) off the excess coffee powder. No I know no one remembers COVID any more and that it was a long time ago and all. But that was a special moment even in non COVID times. Sorry chaps but that wasn’t ok. 2Brothers is in truth a quiet but pleasant coffee shop the Cortado is very decent. Was going to put this up yesterday, but it took me a while to digest what I saw."

"Always a fantastic time. the workers are welcoming and warm, and the la fontana pilsner is a great choice of beer. small problem with the spinat on the prima (I think), pizza is quite soggy, but everything else was on the spot."

"We’ve been there before but it’s been refurbished beautifully and at first we thought it was closed from the outside. As it happens it was open, lovely bright, airy dining room. We went there cause one of our party is gluten intolerant and they had similar menu to the main one, excellent. The food was amazing, the presentation was stunning, even down to the crockery, some unusual pieces. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff were so lovely and friendly. I must add that the place was spotless and it’s one of the cleanest toilets I’ve ever used, top marks for that, will recommend this little gem and we will be back, amazing"

"Lovely little cafe in the post office, what a great idea! Staff were really helpful, the full English consisted of 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 3 bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomato, toast and some rocket. Top notch. Made even better with the government's 50% for Eat out to help out."
