Went today 6 of us 3 small children a teen and two adults for breakfast. Wow what can I say Absolutely spotless buffet everything was fresh and all areas were the cleanest I have seen in this type of service l. The selection of food available was extensive from cereal and pancakes to a full English Unlimited tea and coffees even lattes. What Herbbooth doesn't like about Brewers Fayre At The Coach House:
We had our last visit to the Coach House because it closes on 31st May 2023. We have been here several times over the years but had to come for our last lunch visit before it closes next week. Mind you we had enough points on our Bonus Club card to get a free bottle of wine, but we said our last farewell to the staff, especially Pippa we hope she gets what she wants when the place closes. "Bobbed in here again, love this place ! My friend and I wanted scones and jam and clotted cream but spoilt by the menu, especially the Specials, I had the best Chicken Curry and Rice Sale has to offer! My friend had the small english...breakfast, I did manage a scone afterwards. Lovely place to eat Cafe Rose, limited parking at rear of premises, but big pay and display car park opposite. If you have never been, you are truly missing out. Such lovely staff and produce, nice atmosphere, all welcome."

"I ordered an 18th birthday cake, the giant cupcake with specific instructions on the decoration. I collected the cake and was overwhelmed with complete disappointment at staring at the ugliest cake I've ever seen. It was expensive and the idea was that it would be special, a centrepiece. Clearly, the person making the cake has no artistic ability, it was ugly, my instructions were not followed, it was hard to understand the thinking behind producing a giant cupcake in shades of beige that I can only describe as resembling a large turd. I definitely would not recommend spending money on the giant cupcakes for special occasions, a cheap shop brought cake is a much safer and less expensive option. I did my best to remove the ugly brown biscuits plonked on top of the cake which I had requested were not added but it still looked awful, a few brown chocolates placed on a beige buttercream, with cream writing on the cake base that was so faint, it wasn't worth making the effort of putting it there. Unbelievably bad for the price."
