the vegetarian burger was very good. a little expensive (b 195 but I was satisfied with the portion size and the fact that it fries and contains an salad. free pool table was a plus. the beers are expensive, so would not spend the whole day here (b250 for a pint of guinness! . beautiful local Irish institution and pleasant and clean throughout the bar. a lot of football also on TV. What User doesn't like about Paddy's Palms:
I had the roast beef dinner which filled my son and I up. I can't complain about the price because the portions are huge, like 2 meals for 300 baht, which is competitive with other places with much lower standards and smaller portions. I skipped the beers due to price but when I saw the size of the glasses I had a rethink. My only complaint is the roast was very rare so I had a hard time cutting it with their knives... Normally not a fan of this kind of pub, but my man wanted a steak and we were told that this is the place to go. the recommendation was correct and he said his ribbed eye was perfectly cooked. the house wines were a bit abandoned.
Very nice Irish Pub. The pulled pork sandwich is awesome, I highly recommend it. The food portions are generous and, considering the fact that we are in a resort town, the prices are reasonable.

I really liked the place. Very charming, minus all the neurotypical sports fandom, hehe.
I was so looking forward to having a nice meal at Paddy 's, but I 'm sorry to say that they didn 't deliver.. We arrived quite late for dinner, after 8 o 'clock pm and we were told that we would have to wait at least 50 min for food. That was ok with us because we weren 't in a hurry. After about 45min one of our main courses had to be changed because it was finished so we changed a spaghetti bolognese to one lasagne. When the lasagne was served the waiter told us that the mashed potatoes with one of the other dishes was finished, could we have roasted potatoes instead? Yes, fine no problem. We waited for at least a other 20 minutes but no food. The owner I think came overand asked us if everything was fine, we said yes but we haven 't got our food yet. He barged into the kitchen and said it 's coming, sorry for waiting... When the food arrived approx 15minutes later we were served roast potatoes that were hard as a rock and completely inedible. We were really disappointed! My roast chicken was delicious but the whole experience was ruined. My 13 year old daughter asked why they couldn 't make mash potatoes, as the Guinness stew was meant to be served with from the beginning, instead of roast potatoes that obviously takes longer to cook? I wonder who they put into that kitchen, couldn 't be a chef anyway... My husband was happy to have a good Guinness though, but that had nothing to do with the kitchen....it came from a tap. Feckin ' ejits.
Was here three times and really liked it every time. friendly staff. great breakfast. 10 minutes to walk to white sandy beach. would be highly recommended.
