This place is a hidden gem in the Blue Ridge area. The steak was cooked to perfection. They offer small plates for those who don't eat a lot. Everything was tasty and the service was outstanding. We highly recommend Core 450 and will return with friends. View all feedback.
What Chriss Nelson doesn't like about Core 450:
This was our 3rd time here, cold food! There were 4 of us, 2 had great meals 2 had cold food (short rib), even when they warmed it up it was still cool...sweet potatoes were 1/2 cooked and about 80% fat on the rib. I had the short rib a few weeks ago and it was amazing, thats why we came back. VERY disappointed! Server was amazing! She was really bummed about the food. We all have about our dinner for 5 back in October. this experience was good, but not so good. my clams were brown and dry inside. they seemed like a bad charge. his pesto garnelen pasta was delicious. the black man was fabulous last time. this time it was good, just not so tasteful and the sweet potato mash was almost a brown color this time (more orange before) and not as tasteful as it was our last time. we wondered if they had changed chefs.
Eating was excellent. service was great. the prices were a little high. we would return.
Love it here, great variety, menu often updated. casual friendly atmosphere. open kitchen concept complements the ambiente. can actually be reversed during their meal. Get out!
I need to speed up the service. we have waited for one of our drinks. they also need more choice of pinot noir through the glass and also add a selection of 5oz pour or a 9 oz pour for wein
We both loved this place. Casual yet elegant. Tremendous food that was delicious and beautiful to look at. We shared an appetizer that was big enough to call it an entre. Terrific service. Bright, clean, modern space.
