"We stopped in during Friday afternoon, a few minutes before closing. The staff was quite welcoming, and we were treated with a warm welcome. We had a slice of pie, warmed up, and picked up an additional pie to take home. The pie filling could be distinguished: not mushy, and clear flavors of apple, berries. The pie dough had a warm, baked flavor, without hints of shortening, and the crumble top is a good excuse to eat oatmeal! It was way different from another Grand Traverse Pie location, in Plymouth. This is the reason it is a must to get a fresh piece of pie in Traverse City, rather than the other, down south location:great service, and fresh pie!"

"Visit Traverse City, long journey with hungry children. Pizza is great! Sauce is so delicious! Stromboli is full of delicacies! The children have torn the happy bread sticks! Customer service was top notch although they were busy slammed! I'll dream of her pizza forever until we return to Traverse City! What a great experience!"
