Very nice welcome from the staff. Shown to our room which doesn't happen often these days. Room very well appointed. Only negative for me was a firm bed but that's only because of personal preference. Couldn't have a meal in the pub as the kitchen was closed for some annual maintenance. The menu looked awesome though. Staff reccommended a pizza place across the road and were happy for us to have it in the pub. Great... read more.
