"I had two dishes there, pecorino with pears and rucola, and spaghettone with duck. Both of these dishes were amazingly good. The service is friendly and non-pretentious, and the ambience in the heart of Marche is just perfect. I'll go again soon."

"Well...I live in Recanati and I have been here a few times. In fact it has been in the past my favorite restaurant for meat. In fact I told a friend from out of town that it was the ONE place to go for meat. I have NEVER in my life wrote a bad review of any place. And yet I feel the need to tonight. Because....it ranks up in the life of bad experiences. If a restaurant is busy...sure there is no time to speak about the menu. In this night there were 8 people. Including us. So maybe take some time to explain to a person what they are having. I speak food italian and my friend spoke zero. We both ordered. I ordered a Tartare and he ordered a tagliare. I ordered what I thought would be a ribeye and he ordered I don;t know. In fact I asked if the steak I ordered was good for one and the person said yes. Well, my tartare was mediocre at best. His tagliare was the normal you can get anywhere. It is Marche. Then when I asked for a wine list I was pointed to a wall of wines . Okay...I live here..so I will get up and see the wines. Grazie mille! Now I have already ordered a 50 euro steak at this point. So maybe you show me a list instead of inviting me to wall. That is fine. There is where it gets GREAT! My friend 's steak arrives. It is a normal steak. My steak arrives and it is a side of a cow. BEAUTIFUL presentation. I am a big gal. So maybe they thought I ate a bowl of raw meat and a side of a cow?? It is possible. Here is the problem for me. Maybe, just maybe they describe what I am getting? And better yet....some seasoning to either? Maybe say...well... out steak tartare is rather large...and you are now ordering for 3 people with your steak Nope...it was all funny. American and Singapore. Lets just spend their money was the feeling I got. More funny. I took one bite of my 80 euro steak. And said porta via (take away) When we went to pay the bill.......they almost could not find my 80 euro steak? In the end they did. Grazie Mille. The tartare had zero flavor and my 80 euro steak had less flavor. The quality of the meat was good. However there was ZERO flavor. So I am sad to say that my favorite restaurant in the village ended up being the worst. In my parting advice. Maybe in the future you treat people and introduce them to your great dishes instead of seeing a 150 euro for 2 horrible experience."
