"The almost 250 km long trip was really worth it. We visited a horse farm in the area and settled in the beer garden of Old City Gate on a recommendation for lunch. For the big sunny weather nobody could. But thanks for the excellent regional cuisine at very moderate prices and the absolutely perfect service goes quite clearly into the kitchen and the service of the Landgasthof. "We were wandering around looking for a restaurant that could seat the 8 of us and took a chance. The restaurant was full except for a table that looked to hold 6 people but they were kind enough to offer it to us. It was a tight fit but very worth it.We let the waitress select our wine and both the red and white were very good and reasonably priced (20-25 euros). Our food was excellent, my schnitzel was perfect and everyone else raved about their meals. ( This may get repetitive, this is the first of 3 consecutive nights of really great dinners and therefore 3 great reviews).I am not sure what more to say, go there and order anything and I am sure that you will be very happy.9"
