We came to the city to visit and wanted a good meal, but not fast food or imagination. Salerno was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The pizza was delicious, the homemade pommes were tasteful, and the cannoli was delicious. The service here is very good, both as dine in and take out and staff are very friendly. For take out, the delivery is very fast. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and the fries were a little underwhelming for me. Very thin, not seasoned well enough and not crispy. The sandwich was decent, good portion size. I'll visit the city for a few days. The first day we tried pizza and liked it, so we came back to the second day. The waiter was very pleasant to speak.
