"Found this one via google (where it has a stellar rating) after the trip advisor top choices were booked out and ended up being rather glad that was the case. Lovely atmosphere, good wine, small menu with great pasta and absolutely top-notch desserts. If we ever come back to trieste or friends ask for recommendations this will be our top pick."

"I ate from them or sometimes, what I like most and that change menus, I know so many places that always keep the same menu....che noia! Being vegan I always find vegan alternatives and also vegetarian. The service is almost always fast and the staff is kind."

"I sat outside for 10 minutes and nobody came out, it was only after a woman told the waiter that someone was outside. The waiter was cordial so I'll give him that. Ate a sandwich which was fair, I've had better. The juice was good and the place is well decorated."

"I read about Taverna ai Mastri d'Arme on a website about beer and I was already aware of their enthusiastic approach towards beer. What I did not know was how helpful and sincere could their service be. The interior is decorated very nicely, with the...feeling of a tavern from very old times. Looks and smells nice. The staff welcomed us very warmly. I had a few questions on the local beer they might be serving and they responded very swiftly, friendly and obviously with pleasure. They explained their specialties and I ordered a soup and it was special indeed. I tasted 4 different beers -with the guidance of the staff- and they were also very satifying. My wife tasted a liquor made of ale (I'm not sure if they have it regularly) and it was also impressive. This is not a simple bar, this is a special beer tavern, built and run by beer enthusiasts. I can simply say, I could not have enough of Taverna ai Mastri d'Arme. If I were living nearby, I would surely be their regular customer. Thank you ladies and gentlemen."
