Lis from Trinidad Menu

What Graham McGowan-Smyth doesn't like about Lis:
10th May 2017.The restaurant, with a Trip Advisor recommendation sticker outside tempted us in even thouh it was not an independant Palador. Again, a cool welcome. Ordered grilled chicken for N.. I, told it would take 30 minutes. Ok. Then told it was off. So, ordered “Grilled chicken supreme” “grilled chicken with garlic”. A.. ordered Pork pasta with parmesan which proved edible but tough. Mine, although flavoured with garlic, had a distinctive fishy taste which I sent back, instantly loosing my appetite for anything else from that kitchen. The waiter was apologetic but I can't recommend this restaurant.

"A truly unique restaurant in trinidad, with an innovative ordering style, attentive service, excellent cocktails and even better eating! one has to visit if they are in the opposite, I would recommend the lamb curry as it was divine! the stylistic use of old periodika really adds the atmosphere and the bathroom is larger than my apartment. it is also worth noting that they can pay in US dollars and euro, and will receive a 10 discount on their bill if they do so."
