"Great little spot to grab a coffee and a treat. They have a full menu. You can eat inside or head outside on a nice day. And what a view!! You are only minutes from the Port Rexton Brewery and the Skerwink hiking trail."

"Gayle and I enjoyed one dinner and 2 breakfasts at the Twine Loft Restaurant during our 2-night stay at the Artisan Inn. The closest experience I can think of after spending a really nice weekend in Trinity was maybe Mendocino, but without the tourist hordes. The Twine Loft Restaurant was very charming, with stellar down home service, and delicious food options that the kitchen was happy to tweak. We both enjoyed the rustic modern dining room, the romantic ambiance, and the view of the water through the window. Our only regret here was that the weekend we were here was cold and foggy, so there was no real sit on the deck at sunset (or sunrise) option. Dinner was extra special at a fixed price of $65 plus beverages. Gayle chose the Moroccan Lamb Shank with Yogurt Mint Sauce (served with Lemon Herb Israeli Pearl Couscous and Roasted Vegetables), while I went for the Atlantic Salmon with Mango Pickled Onion Salsa (served with lemon roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables). We shared that an a nice bottle of Canadian wine."

"Stopped in for lunch. The grilled zucchini panini was delicious. They give you a huge bowl of soup with lovely homemade bread if you order the soup. The coffee could be better."

"This is the third year we have dined at this restaurant and have never been disappointed. A fresh pea soup to start, followed by a perfectly dressed Caesar salad, then baked cod before the over the top chocolate torte. The menu is preset with a choice of main course which is made when you confirm your reservation. A nice wine list and cocktails are available. Enjoy the spectacular view from your table or a comfortable chair outside before dinner."

"This place is a real find. A hidden gem on the road to Port Rexton. They have their own garden, grow fresh lettuces, raise hens for eggs, and offer very fresh ingredients. Try their homemade lemonade! Lovely soups and salads too."
