"We spent 2 nights at Le Vieux Couvent Auberge. Hakim is such a good host friendly and helpful. He and Virginie run a beautiful, very clean, unique auberge in a beautiful mountain location. he made a delicious breakfast of croissants, yogurt, fruit and lattes. We rode our bikes around the lake and the scenery was gorgeous. We would definitely return!"

"They told us they had the best poutine in the city and they were right. No, not because they are the only restaurant in the city. they really have the best poutins I cost over quebec. How hard can it be to make poutine? it seems hard. Anyway, we went back a second night to dinner and again the service was great and the food came hot even though they were busy. they need to try their soft serve ice cream. omg's good."

"We were at this hotel and ate in the restaurant. Dinner was very good. The complete dinner includes Escargot served on a plate with a pastry and a beautiful sauce. Presentation was worth a photo. Next came a bowl of soup served with a bungalow...warm and very nice homemade soup. Next was the main thing. I had chickens on a cabob with veg, served over a bed rice and with a salad on the other help of the dish. Very good. Coffee or tea was included. Labrador Tee was an option, so I chose it. Finally a piece of cherry and vanilla cake with a puppet puppet made of whipped cream and a creamy sauce with hearts drawn into it and chocolate over all drizzed. Presentation was fabulous. Dinner was pretty good and a bargain for $29.95 (plus taxes and tip). It was nice enough that I published some photos on Facebook, but it elutes me how to pst them here. In view of the beautiful dinner, the breakfast served with decaf crystals instead of actual coffee was a bit disappointing. My friend ordered waffles that were prefabricated. My omelet was not too bad, but disappointing after the really nice dinner at the night before."
