Thuringer Kaiserstube - Troisdorf

This place serves up fantastic Schnitzel and Bratkartoffel. It has a quaint, neighborly feel inside; service was friendly. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by the solid German food produced by this kitchen.

Saw some good reviews about this place and coincidentally, our host decided to take us to the very same place for dinner.Location: strategic, very very close to an underground parking.Atmosphere: simple and a bit medieval look, with sturdy tables and chair. Nothing pretentious.Food: simple and yet amazing... ordered the "Meat... Meat... Meat..." because I was undecided between their very own sausage and pork steak. It is extremely kind of them to accommodate for my request to add the blue-cheese sauce for my steak, in fact they placed it as a side so that I can savour the pork steak in its original form and add the sauce later. Sauerkraut on the side is really nice too!!Verdict: proper german food at its best, super friendly folks, good selections of german beer, very value for money!!Definitely recommend this place and won't hesitate to pop in for food if I happened to be nearby... though I will definitely do lots of run, either before or after the meal.

Had an amazing meal, the staff are very friendly and the food was exquisite. The atmosphere was just what was needed after a long day of travelling. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I like going to eat there, it's all delicious and made me special. always changing midday offers for 7 euro. i liiiiebe the kingsberg klopse: also Saturdays is the breakfast lonely tip.

Her today's pfeffi party was great. many thanks for the excellent kitchen and the great mood. we are coming back!
