As the most part of the restaurant in the historic centre of Tropea this property has a large terrace and has traditional Calabraise cuisine. Anchois grilled, octopus pasta, grilled calamars, you can order a carafe of white or red wines, the service is nice and the correct prices. View all feedback.
What Mietta Grassi doesn't like about Antica Pescheria:
As the restaurant was very busy with Italian customers, we assumed it would be a good choice. After waiting a while to be greeted, we should of listened to our gut and walked away! The service barely improved. We ordered swordfish, as it was a...staple of the area, and it was dry, over cooked and flavorless. View all feedback.
Very good experience. mimmo took care of us very well. the food came very fast and everything was good.
We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent food and the very friendly waiter and chef who then came out to chat with us. They made us laugh and we talked throughout the night. It was really a great evening. I am surprised by the negative...reviews. Molto Grazie chef Rocco e Mimmo (con 3 M.. e stato un vero piacere.
We are surprised at the bad reviews here. We ate at the restaurant today and the food was delicious. We ordered mixed grilled fish for two, wich was served quickly and the portion was large. The price was less than we expected for the amount...and the quality of fish. The only downside is that the majority of staff do not speak English well, but that is typical of Calabria, unfortunately.
We have spaghetti with clams to the marinara and with fishpada and melenzane. fried fi calamari. Very well. very kind staff. I recommend it. prices in the standard. and thank you
Tried at dinner, although we were without reservation the legendary mimmo, super friendly waiter easily found us a table. delicious red onion pancakes, eggplant meatballs, rich marine appetizer and mountains. also good spaghetti with scampi and spaghetti with clams. You can go back!
