We are gathered in this restaurant and we are not disappointed. Found with google comments after an exit on the beach of Deauville, we spent a very good evening in this restaurant. We took the menu at 22€ containing the dessert dish entry, which is very correct, and as much as you say it was very good! What Marcella Nader doesn't like about La Toscane:
Trouville is a lovely town, full of fun and activity, and a working fishing port. The Quai alone has many restaurants, and most are as you would expect - a range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, all of them getting quite a bit more expensive than they used to be. We visit quite often, and have been to most of the restaurants. This one is ok, but nothing special, with reasonably pleasant service, but just no charm and no joy. Intrusive pop music on a screen which some customers find distracting, ok food but not cheap, and a general feeling that everywhere needs cleaning and polishing, if not redecorating. Nothing really wrong, but why would you choose it?
I can't comment too much on the food because we only had pizza, which was absolutely fine. However what made this stand out was the service which was really friendly, helpful and efficient.
We decided to enter this restaurant for the interesting menu we saw at the entrance. we ordered a marinara mussel bowl and a fritto misto. After waiting about 20 minutes for our plates they finally arrived. The fritto misto arrived as pictured below or should I say salad mista. We asked the waiter if there was an error and she said that's how it's served in Italy and to shut up and eat.Well as bad as it looks in the picture that's how it tasted. Oily and soggy. The mussels no taste also.We left everything paid and went to another restaurant.Bad service, bad food. The chef was loading the fridges for the next service instead of controlling his plates.Take note I am in the restauration sector and I know how a fritto misto is prepared. Needs better direction.

Then the quality of the dishes and the friendliness of the waitress is very appreciable.
The kitchen had just closed but the owner made a move and always agreed to serve us. We were very warmly welcomed. The mussels are very good, many types of sauces available (living, cream, cream/champi, camembert, bishop's bridge, curry, etc.). They're in large quantities, and we're out of the air. The dessert portions are also huge. Everything for a very reasonable price, cheaper than the average in Trouville. The owner is very friendly, warm and attentive. We had a good time. We highly recommend and plan to return!
