"Top notch brunch with a fire menu! The specials were great too! My husband had the chicken fried steak and it was to crispy and juicy! Hands down one of the best breakfast and mimosa spots. Omg the mimosa selection is HUGE! I loved the fresh guava! Service was phenomenal all the staff was extremely friendly and on top of it. Even the kitchen staff had a smile and Wonderful attitude."

"We were visiting Truckee for the holidays and were excited to see so many delicious-looking vegan options on the menu here! It's a cute place with super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere (it is incredibly small). We ordered the Spudz, burrito, and burger off the vegan menu. The food came quite quickly and were hefty servings. Everything was okay, but not amazing. The burrito was the most disappointing, as it lacked any seasoning whatsoever. It also came with a large side of plain iceberg lettuce, for some reason. The Spudz were the most tasty dish we got, and were loaded with veggies. It was less of a scramble and more of a saute, though. Probably wouldn't go again, though we were happy the vegan options existed at all."

"Everything we ordered was fantastic! I split the burger, side salad and Mac&Cheese with a friend. The burger was cooked perfectly, the salad was delicious and beautiful due to the perfectly ripe strawberries and gorgeous multi-color radishes. I couldn’t have dinner at the Truckee Tavern and not at least try a little of whatever mac&cheese was currently in the menu. Their mac&cheese is always so smooth and creamy. The bacon bits in the current version added great flavor. We will definitely be back again this summer."
