The pizza was surprisingly good. Delicious crust. A kind of interesting clubhouse type site. The staff was very attentive.
Great furnishings and environment. Pizza is okay, service is friendly, but pretty slow.

"New chef is very poor. He provides a chunk of pot roast without any sauce and calls it short ribs. I've ordered this dish for years and thought it the Lodge's best meal. The Lodge remains a good place to get a salad or hamburger, but it is no longer a place for fine dinning."

"Top notch brunch with a fire menu! The specials were great too! My husband had the chicken fried steak and it was to crispy and juicy! Hands down one of the best breakfast and mimosa spots. Omg the mimosa selection is HUGE! I loved the fresh guava! Service was phenomenal all the staff was extremely friendly and on top of it. Even the kitchen staff had a smile and Wonderful attitude."

"We were visiting Truckee for the holidays and were excited to see so many delicious-looking vegan options on the menu here! It's a cute place with super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere (it is incredibly small). We ordered the Spudz, burrito, and burger off the vegan menu. The food came quite quickly and were hefty servings. Everything was okay, but not amazing. The burrito was the most disappointing, as it lacked any seasoning whatsoever. It also came with a large side of plain iceberg lettuce, for some reason. The Spudz were the most tasty dish we got, and were loaded with veggies. It was less of a scramble and more of a saute, though. Probably wouldn't go again, though we were happy the vegan options existed at all."
