"When I originally called out if this restaurant is safe, I expected that I had to dig a little for answers. I asked if they could take a celiac diet, my normal first question. Often I must follow with special mention of gluten. Instead, I got an immediate answer: all their curries are already gluten-free, they could make a number of other dishes gluten-free with minor changes, and they could also make a few other items gluten-free, but they would have to leave the sauce. They explained that these dishes use a certain sauce, and one of the ingredients in this ingredient contains gluten. So they knew that a part of a sauce contained gluten... That convinced me. And I love it. Amazing curries."

"Wasn't a huge fan, went for breakfast, it was typical breakfast fare, decent prices, but quality was poor. Service was poor as well, when we said their pancakes where very tasteless our party was dismissed. Perhaps since we where not the obvious local clientele. I'll hit up a Big Stop next time."

"We visit this location today evening and had an awful service. We order potatoes wedges and tea through drive through. The potatoes wedges were very over cooked and it seems like they have resting their from very long time. We simply asked the drive through girl to change them , they are over cooked. She replied,” THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE.” She grab the bag rudely and told the co-worker to refund them in her native language. She didn’t even said sorry or didn’t give us a chance to grab anything else.What is it means by saying this is what we have. What if you guys have an over cooked chicken. Would you sell to customers by saying,”this is what we have.”She didn’t apologize and didn’t give us an offer to grab anything else. It was raining, people stop by to have something to eat not to be disrespectful. We are never visiting this location again and never recommend to other."

"Stopped into Belly Up BBQ on the way back to Moncton from meetings in Halifax with a few co workers. Stopped here based on a positive visit a few months prior. There were two servers working, one folding napkins over the utensils. After 10 mins of us waiting and her at the sitting at the next table folding we said we are ready to order when she is ready. She gave us no response and just stared at us in anger. The other waitress finally came over to serve us. We ordered the nachos and a few drinks. The nachos may have been the most unimpressive nachos I have ever been served. Chips, melted cheese and a few sprinkles banana peppers. Overall poor experience, especially after recommending the location to other people."

"I've been here several times because it is listed in the Taste of Nova Scotia Seafood Trail book and I've been making the rounds. The fish tacos here are delicious. I also had the chowder which was wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet place though, this is not it. They frequently have musical guests, and the atmosphere is of fun and liveliness."

"Went for supper. Order was taken wrong. Screwed up in kitchen, or by waitress. No one admitted to it. Received new order as my wife finished her meal. We both watched each other eat our meals due to the very long length of time it took to fix my entree problem. My wife ordered liver and onions, meal came with 3 scraggly pc's of onion, she asked waitress for more onions, more were brought. Recd bill with an extra charge of 2.69 for onions. Waitress refused to take off bill, I asked to speak to owner (new) he showed up and argued with me about it, spewing various reasons why he would not take this charge off our bill. He was very unprofessional, not a people person, probably would be better off working in a job that offered isolation, not working with the public. So, in conclusion, this being a terrible experience with staff and management and food being just so so bar food I would like to let people know this is the kind of crap you may run into at this place. Stay away from this backwoods tavern."
