"Wonderful food and friendly staff in a clean environment. Lunch specials are a terrific value at $6 for a Sweet Tea and a meal. Only downside, they are not open on Monday. But that's ok! If you like great Mexican food, check them out!"

"Hi, my family has been eating fish camp at Lake Bowen for 40 years. It is always a great experience with some of the best seafood you get so far from the coast. I remember when they painted all the walls in the building and it's always fun to see everything. The various designs that complement the ambience of the restaurant. Well worth a stop and always worth a second visit."

"Had a really bad experience. Walked in and because we saw counters the minute we entered we assumed it was counter service. No one corrected us nor was there any signage saying you should sit and people would come to your table. We ended up being snapped at from an honest failure to understand the system. Then, still confused, I approached the counter and asked for a to go cup I was told I was cutting in front of patiently waiting customers. At no time did anyone tell was we should do we were just scolded for doing it wrong. I can only assume that most customers are locals who know what to do automatically. The really odd thing is they have signs throughout the restaurant talking about friendship and being nice and yet they weren't nice to us. Food was ok but the whole experience was unhappy."

"We were seated in a very timely manner. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the salmon and fish n chips. Our food was so well prepared and absolutely delicious. Salmon and fish perfect. Cole slaw was so creamy and tasteful. We love this little town and the food and atmosphere!!Parking: We parked on main St parking."

"We enjoyed our stay. Nice, peaceful weekend getaway. We stayed in the Dogwood cottage. Cleanliness was excellent. The cottage was in great condition when we arrived with restocked amenities as described on the website. The entire resort is well maintained and clean. There are lots of activities within 10-15 minutes of the resort. Loved the on-site restaurant. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Wonderful staff, reasonable prices and quite delicious food. My only complaint is that depending on the entree you could be left a little hungry (as my case was), but my partner had to take a little home so that this is more so up to the individual and/or entree. Would strongly recommend the service alone."

"Oh my gosh, we are from Chicago so we know good pizza when we eat it, although their deep dish is hand tossed to us . It was great. And the waitress came by, asked what kind we all liked, came back with plates full of our picks right out of the oven. Drinks were filled when they were half gone. Great buffet."
