"Though we moved away, was very happy to have a chance to come back and see Everbean still going strong.Everything has improved, which was great to see. All the more impressive since they had already set a high standard.Featuring some of the best roasters in the country, espresso was dialed in and foam was perfect! Thanks for upping your game and successfully making it through Covid!"

"Wow. Bluemacha was lovely. So good I won't let their substandard chocolate chip cookie ruin this 5 star rating."

"Great place with many options. I especially like the rice rice baby bowl and the eggsquisite sandwich is to die. I have several different articles here and there is nothing I don't like. I highly recommend it."

"Honestly it's one of the best Sushi places on Scott road. Always good food. The only thing better than the food is how friendly and courteous the owners are. They are enough of a reason to come."

"Enjoyable and authentic Greek food and personality on West Beach, and the friendliest staff. Equally charming interior in the winter or sunny terrace in the summer. 4.5 year after year."

"The Tandoori chicken was edible but sub-par, which is disappointing seeing as how the name of this place is Tandoori cafe. It was dry and not very flavorful. The butter chicken was probably the worst butter chicken we?ve eaten: extremely sweet and creamy. It also wasn?t very comforting watching the guys in the kitchen making the food with their long hair flailing about without hairnets. The Ras malai was the saddest $6 I?ve ever spent."

"After the renovation, the food has become much better and more comfortable to dine in. Seating is still limited and they prioritize take out still. Good local spot, prices are average."

"Somehow this ramen joint stayed off our radar for too long. But make no mistake about it, Kamamarui is a strong runner on Burnaby’s ramen scene. Maybe they need some sort of more noticeable advertisement or better advertisement campaign in general, but it certainly deserves...more attention. The joint itself is rather small and cozy, personnel is very attentive and friendly. I like how their menu is designed, great way to deliver info on ingredients. I should say the prices are very reasonable and with combo deals you get a lot of bang for your buck. I mean there’s another very popular ramen spot literally 100 meters away from it and the same black tonkotsu ramen is 50% more expensive there, and I personally don’t think it is any better than one Kamamarui offers. And $10 standard Miso or Tonkotsu ramen is quite a bargain. You can choose how rich you want your broth to be and also there are some additional sauces on the table to modify ramen to your taste. Portions are good in size and all the flavours are there, ramen is simply delicious. I like how their chashu is slightly seared, but you also can choose sous vide chashu. They also have something called the Bomb, which is basically a rice ball with seaweed and teriyaki sauce and it is absolutely delicious. Overall, I think it is a very good ramen joint and I can recommend it to others."
