"I had vegan mushroom pasta and my friend had lentils pasta (both spaghetti) and they were both amazing. Many veggie decisions, staff are so beautiful and speak very good English. I also had a gluten-free chocolate cake for dessert, which was beautiful. Very recommended. The mood was also great, very cozy"

"Since Vietnam was once a French colony, French cuisine is a must when you visit Vietnam as it is really nice and comparatively cheaper. La Badiane Restaurant is a very popular French restaurant founded in 2008 by three French friends in Hanoi. It serves elegant French Vietnamese cuisine in a beautiful environment. My partner and I tried their lunch that was a four-course menu. The Amuse-Bouche was the seasonal soup of the day, Ente Foie gras on toast. The duck food was so smooth and its delicious. The starter was a cheese Nem Prosciutto Salat, Balsamico Dressing. This combination was just so fresh and prepared your stomach for the main course. The main was the tapenade grilled red tuna, saffron ratatouille. The tuna was cook for perfection and we both loved dressing too. For dessert it is Pistachio ice cream, coffee Chantilly roasted almonds. By looking at the part, I thought my partner would have to end most of it because I'm not a dessert. But when I started to taste the ice cream, the Chantilly, the almonds... I just couldn't stop eating! so in the end, I ended the whole dish of dessert, yum. The ambience, the staff and the food are so good, highly recommended! One thing with French cuisine is a very long lunch or dinner. So if you don't want to have 4/5 hours of dinner like us, you can choose a lunch. We spent about 2 hours, with also very good price of VD695000per person."

"Very beautiful building and nice food. But the waitress' attitude was cold and emotionless (guess maybe was the manager? She was wearing white blouse. After we left the restaurant, my friend told me she saw the lady stood behind us with her impatient face all the way and quickly took the tipping away since she saw me tipping 100k. LOL... funny..."
