Have to say best coffee ever! These guys really care about the brew. Fantastic staff, clean and comfortable new decor. The vanilla slice is pure evil that will have you hooked. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jimmy G's TUGGERAH:
I don't write bad reviews very often for little things but I just thought about the price of the muffin I purchased here today which was pretty average for $5.90, what a rip off! I don't think any other cafe would charge this for a smallish sized muffin and to eat it whilst looking at a carpark. Triple choc with one piece of white chocolate in it! Won't be back at ever. Good chai tea with yum zucchini fritter. friendly help service was welcome after having to be fast for a pathology test. seating in the interior and exterior as well as wheelchair access.
Dined here to breakfast today, we received wonderful service from the beautiful waitress rachel. I ordered that it was a great meal and very tasty. only the problem was parking was a bit a problem.
Yes, a bit sad as we find today (sat) for broke, it is now only open weekdays 6 to 3 clock. when we visited, the staff are wonderful. friendly and good service. eat and coffee also very well. I just have to go somewhere. for the weekend search. cheers
Very friendly staff, helpful and dedicated. on a pleasant winter morning we served a delicious breakfast outside in the sun. coffee is excellent and hot served. the caffe is opened 6 days in the week to breakfast and lunch.
The Jimmy G name is spreading across the coast and Newcastle, but not all Jimmy Gs are created equal. The Tuggerah one is good for breakfast, and lunch on a weekday, but we have twice had an experience that has put us off- and that’s...trying for weekend lunch. Despite being open till 2 on weekends, you really aren’t encouraged to be there after 1. The first weekend lunch we tried, at 12.53 the “juicer was already in the dishwasher” so couldn’t get juice- did get lunch, but while we were eating, the outside seating was being dismantled and noisily stacked inside. Not very relaxing. But because we really do like the place, we tried another weekend lunch. Again, around 1, which we really don’t think is an unreasonable time to be having lunch, even with a 2pm close. The outside seating was already stacked inside, and when we walked in it looked deserted so we asked if lunch was still being served. After hesitation the server went to check and came back with a yes, but at the same time another worker started up the industrial vacuum cleaner and started doing the floors. We changed our mind and went elsewhere, where we felt a bit more welcome.
