"Made a recent visit to this restaurant whilst on holiday. I live in Tenerife and am familiar with this style of restaurant and the food and service were both fine. My partner and I ordered the food, together with a bottle of the house wine. When we were presented with the bill, I was shocked to find that we had been charged 28.50 euro, for an acceptable but average wine. When I queried the price, I was informed that as it was a local wine, this was the price, possibly the most expensive house wine I have ever drunk! A few nights later, we ate in a first class restaurant in the same area and noted the same wine on the wine list priced at 20.00 euro. What a great shame that a good meal was spoiled by the greed of the owner and his overpriced wine. We would have retuned for another meal, however, I do not appreciate being 'ripped off '."
